Author description

Simon Scoones is Education Project Manager for Worldaware, where he is the author of globaleye.org.uk website for schools as well as other printed resources on global issues. He is also a teacher-training tutor at the Institute of Education, University of London. Duncan McGregor is a Senior Lecturer in Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London. He has carried out research throughout the tropics and has researched and published works on the Amazonian regions of Colombia and Brazil.
