Reo Ora - A Maori Language Course : Ko te Pu, Ko te More (Level 1-2), covers areas such as basic pronunciation, family genealogy, nominal sentences, counting and telling the time, verbal sentences, direct object markers, possessives, location, tenses, and negation. Students will learn to engage in simple conversations in Maori. The main focus of this book is to develop a sound grammatical knowledge of Maori and basic sentence structures through oral and written exercises. As the learner progresses through each chapter, the language patterns and vocabulary become more complicated.
