Martin Hawes's first book on trusts - Family Trusts: A New Zealand Guide - has sold over 50,000 copies. Since its publication Martin has addressed thousands of people at workshops and seminars, and he has noticed that a pattern of questions has emerged. Clearly these were questions that needed answers so this, then, is the reason for this book. It is designed to be read by people who already know a little bit about trusts but who have further queries relating to particular circumstances.
