The booklet is the fifth in a series of guides for the Coromandel Peninsula. Its purpose is to bring the area alive by pulling together lots of information about towns, places of interest and history, together with comprehensive trip notes and detailed and informative walk notes. It is aimed at people who enjoy exploring interesting and naturally beautiful places, and who may have an interest in New Zealand colonial history.
