Raglan is an old coastal settlement on the west coast south of Auckland. This book is about Raglan's older baches. Many were built in the boom years of the 1950s and 1960s when thousands of Kiwis invested in a bit of land by the sea. These structures are part of a unique period and style of New Zealand architecture and also are part of a unique period of the country's social history.
