Peter Moore Smith was born in Panama and lives in Manhattan with his wife Brigette, a graphic designer. His sister is the actress, Julianne Moore. His short fiction has appeared in the American Literary Review, Writer's Forum, Folio, and the Massachusetts Review. His short story, 'Oblivion, Nebraska' wasselected for the Pushcart Prize 2000 and his first novel, Ravelling was publishing to wide critical acclaim in 2000. He also contributed to Like A Charm, a collection of short crime stories edited by Karin Slaughter and published in 2004.
