Lacey is firmly ensconced in her world. Her best friend Vanessa lives across the road and they do everything together. They both attend dance lessons too. When a new girl, Belinda, comes to school, Lacey is keen to be friends. Belinda is a dancer too and attends one of Lacey and Vanessa's dance classes. However, Belinda has had more experience in the dancing world and soon tells the girls that their dance teacher doesn't know what she is doing.
